Studio
Our recordings usually take place in venues selected for their acoustic properties such as concert halls, cathedrals and large commercial studios.
Once the recording sessions are over, post production is undertaken at our purpose built studio in the beautiful yet accessible rural location of Hemingford, Cambridgeshire. State of the art loudspeakers in an acoustically treated studio are the only way to make critical judgements, whether it be reviewing and selecting the best takes or mixing and mastering the final product.
Different operators tend to have their preferences by way of software so there is a choice of Sadie, Pyramix, Pro Tools and Logic available, the latter featuring an extensive orchestral Vienna Symphonic sample library. Video production is catered for by Apple Final Cut Studio.
There is always great coffee, a choice of two village pubs and inspiring country walks for when it all gets too much.
