Dominic Piers Smith
2009 has already been a year of superlatives for Dominic Piers Smith - he received a standing ovation for his performance of Rachmaninov's 2nd Piano Concerto with the London Philharmonic Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall and released his debut CD 'The Power of Dreaming' the same night which was recorded and produced by Matthew Dilley of About Sound at the Menuhin Hall over 4 days in November 2008. more »

Blüthner sponsored pianist, Caroline Clipsham approached About Sound on recommendation from another customer to make a promotional video for both herself and her sponsor. A Blüthner model 4 piano was duly delivered to Leatherhead Theatre where three cameras were used to film approximately 30 minutes of music in High Definition. more »
Youtube Video service for artists and composers
About Sound was approached recently by John Rutter’s management to film a series of short videos in which the composer talks about the background behind his Requiem and provides useful tips for those wishing to perform the work. The series of 11 videos have been released on a designated Youtube channel, which has already generated a significant amount of traffic. more »
